It's my favorite time of the year. I just love all the Christmas lights, music, and sights and sounds of the holiday spirit. It's a time of giving and celebrating and it's also a time of baking and entertaining. But, as the days count down closer to Christmas, my holiday spirit for baking seems to be lacking. It's the most wonderful time of year, but it's also the most busiest. Between shopping for gifts, volunteering at our school for the kids holiday festivities, basketball practice, and everything else that is going on, my holiday hostess skills seem to get put on the back burner.

That is why I love to make this Easy Holiday Bread Bowl when I need a dish to serve on busy holiday nights. It's a perfect meal to gather around and chat with loved ones. But, before the family comes to visit, I head to Wal-Mart to make sure I have everything I need to make this super delicious bread bowl dip. Plus, right now you can save when you shop at Wal-Mart and purchase two Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese and $1.00 off when you buy two 8oz Natural Shreds & Chunks.

Easy Holiday Bread Bowl Dip

What you need:
  • 8oz pack Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, soften
  • 2 cups Kraft Natural Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2oz jar of dried beef, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 TBSP of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bread bowl
  • green onion, chopped

How to Make:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cut the top of the bread and remove. Do not discard the top, you will need it.

3. Hollow out the inside of your bread. Save all bread removed.

4. Combine cream cheese, green onion, shredded cheese, dried beef, Worcestershire sauce, and sour cream. Mix well.

5. Spoon mixture into hollowed bread bowl.

6. Replace top of bread.
7. Cover and wrap bread in foil and cook for about an hour.

While bread is baking, cut reserved bread into bite sized pieces and serve with warm bread bowl dip.

Serve and enjoy! This is a perfect treat to share with our family, friends, and guests. It's always a hit.
