Raising boys is quite the adventure. Each day brings something different and new and it's the best! I love that one day we will battle the evil villains and save the day and the next we are on an epic adventure to far away lands. When it's time for a real epic adventure, I make sure they are packed and prepared for whatever may come their way, even if's just a trip to grandmas house. But, when your little superhero wets the bed, sleepovers can be frightening and scary and even a bit embarrassing. So, when I gather his adventure bag for his special trip, I always make sure to pack him GoodNites Bed Mats and GoodNites Bedtime Pants to protect him and the bed.

Children cannot control bed wetting and 1 in 6 kids ages 4 through 12 wet the bed once or more per week. It's totally normal but can be hard for a young child to understand what and why this is happening. At 7 years old, my little man does not understand why he cannot control his bladder during the night and it upsets him greatly. He fears wetting the bed when at his grandparents house and will not say anything if it happens out of pure embarrassment. I've tried and tried to reassure him that it's okay if it happens and that he didn't do anything wrong. So, when my little adventurer sets out on his journey (to spend the night grandmas house), I pack him, and his brother, the perfect sleep over tote bag that he loves and helps build his confidence but giving him that reassurance since I wont be there with him.

To pack the perfect sleep over bag you wont need much and it's super simple. I grabbed a blank canvas tote bag and I decorated it with a puppy, of course, using an iron on vinyl. You can also use a stencil with fabric paint to create a fun design they will love. I added a pillow and small throw blanket for a bit of security, his current favorite book and one of his many favorite stuffed animals. I know these items would remind him of home and allow him to feel more comfortable and confident.

Don't forget to pack the GoodNites Bed Mats and GoodNites Bedtime Pants for extra added protection. The GoodNites Bedtime Pants are made for boys, and girls, ages 4 and up and helps them maintain a sense of privacy and builds self confidence. We love that the GoodNites Bed Mats are disposable and helps reduce middle of the night sheet changes.

Now that you have gathered all the essentials for your perfect sleep-over tote, it's time to start assembling. Everything fit perfectly into our bag and is all ready for him to head out to sleep over at grandmas house.

We have been battling our bed wetting issues for some time now. It's heartbreaking to know that he doesn't want to sleepover at his grandparents house because he is afraid he will have an accident in the bed. He is now 7 and as he gets older I know the fear grows stronger. He will start getting asked to sleepovers with friends and I want to make sure he has the confidence and security to have a good time and not have to worry about wetting the bed. He's is only 7 and shouldn't have to worry about things like that. As a mom, I will do what ever I can to protect him and I am happy to have GoodNites protect him when I can't be there.

I love that Wal-Mart has a great selection of GoodNites bedtime protection. It's so easy to grab them while doing our regular shopping. Plus, you don't want to miss this $2.00 off coupon (while supplies last) when shopping at Wal-Mart for GoodNites products. Coupon is available at certain times so keep checking back for more chances to get your coupon.
