We were asked to help with a gender reveal party for a wonderful couple expecting twins! How exciting. Of course I jumped at the chance to do so. The wonderful mother to be was Braden's fabulous kindergarten teacher and was thrilled to work with her. We only had about 2 weeks to create and style the party. But, we were ready to take on the task.

She was not a fan of pink so we went with a blue and yellowish gold. The blue was more an aqua/turquoise blue. We tried to stay away from a lot of baby blues and pastels. She also loved the idea of incorporating some clocks into the theme. Everyone had been patiently waiting to hear if she was having boys or girls. Plus, added a little vintage feel.

Backdrop was created using an old fence panel and paint. The mother to be found the fence panel and painted it herself. It was perfect. We also attached the banner we created to the fence and tied some balloons to each end.

For the voting station I took two wooden frames I purchased from Ten23 Designs, painted them in the colors of the party, attached chicken wire to the back. Placed on an easel stand. Using washi tape, I decorated clothes pins to be pinned onto the frames. I found these fabulous wire baskets at Hobby Lobby to keep pins in place before people placed their votes. Oversized clothes pins held vote cards and voting instructions sat nearby in a matching frame.

We added our custom made cupcake toppers to the cupcakes and placed on stands. Placed striped paper straws into decorated mason jars. Clocks, hand made cookies, and a custom wood sign adorned the table.

Congrats to the parents to be!!!
