Essentials for Moms On-The-Go

As a mom of two boys, germs seem to be every where. They love to play in the dirt, roll in the grass, and just be messy. I love their imagination, but my immune system may not have the same feelings. It's also that time of year that they like to share all the germs and illnesses they collect at school and at after school activities. Yes, I am that mom the follows them around sanitizing their hands all the time! But, I typically forget about myself. I am usually so concerned about their health and safety that I become an after thought. But, with the help from a few essentials, I can now be prepared for any situation that arises.

I created a super easy on-the-go kit to keep in my purse to have with me when I am out running errands or volunteering at the boys school and Wal-Mart helped me make this happen.

My on-the-go kit contains a few essentials that will help me in any situation. As a mom in general, Advil tablets are a must have. I use Advil tablets for headaches and muscle aches, plus aches and pains of the common cold. They always come in handy in any situation that I need pain relief.

It's flu season, strep season, and just about every illness season. Moms don't get sick days, so I rely on Emergen-C Immune+ Chewables to help provide immune support to help my system fight off unwanted germs.

Now that the cooler weather is here, we are outside an awful lot. Great for the kids, but not on my skin, including my lips. The cool wind make them dry and crack easily. Not a good thing when you are at parent teacher conference or cheering on your basketball star. Our kit would not be complete without Chapstick Total Hydration. It's 100% natural and instantly smooths and moisturizes my lips. I love that I can just toss it in my bag and reach for it whenever I need.

To complete my on-the-go kit I added some tissues, for all the sneezes and runny noses, and sanitizer for the icky germs. I placed them all in a small zip bag and placed into my purse ready to go when ever I am. Adding in a few pieces of candy could't hurt either. Now, I will be prepared where ever I go and whatever situation I am in.
